Reason for The Undertaker's 'Dusty' finish over Brock Lesnar revealed

After the much-hyped build-up to the Undertaker – Brock Lesnar match at Summerslam last Sunday, WWE audiences were left a bit questioned when ‘The Phenom’ picked up somewhat of a tainted finish over ‘The Beast’ when he got Lesnar to pass out to his submission finisher – Hell’s Gate.

The reason behind the finish has been attributed to Vince McMahon, who felt like The Undertaker needed a win, but was hesitant to beat Brock Lesnar in a clean manner. While the decision to have The Undertaker win was made first, it was left to the creative to come up with way to make Lesnar not lose and that’s when the finish that came out was made.
