Reports of imminent return of injured WWE Superstar shot down
One characteristic of this time of the year with respect to the WWE is the wildfire speculation about the surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble. Photos, teasers, rumours, conjecture become a staple in WWE fans’ diet and their appetite isn’t anywhere near appeased.
One of those rumours was about Daniel Bryan. The fan favorite has been out of commission since April 2015 with concussion-related injuries and has reportedly been medically cleared by a number of prominent doctors except the WWE's.
The fans were flamed of late when it was confirmed that Bryan would be in Pittsburgh, PA this week. The reason for his presence was surmised to be a medical exam with WWE’s Dr. Joseph Maroon.
But this presumption has been nullified because Bryan will be in Pittsburgh for a World of Wheels convention, according to DailyWrestlingNews. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter also confirmed that Bryan will be in the city only to make an appearance at the automobile aficionados’ extravaganza. The WWE Superstar will leave the city soon after and will not meet Dr. Maroon after all. Sorry, “Yes Movement”.
