Reports suggest Rey Mysterio is ready to seek new pastures
As per reports, Rey Mysterio has confirmed that he will not be joining the crew on this week’s UK Tour, and has no plans to return to WWE television. He met with WWE officials to communicate the same.
Sources claim that Mysterio has been burnt out with wrestling just like CM Punk. After years of injuries and working a full-time schedule travelling all over the world, he is looking to move out of the wrestling scene.
Supposedly, Rey wants to return to AAA in Mexico, and potentially even take a lead role in Lucha Underground to bring mainstream exposure to the promotion. Some other sources claim that he is interested in taking acting classes, and picking up roles in Mexican telenovelas.
