Results from Global Force Wrestling live event from Winston-Salem (8/14/15)
Global Force Wrestling (GFW) had a live event at Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the BB&T Ballpark on Friday and the results have come in. Below is breakdown fo the results from the live event.
- The show kicked off with PJ Black (Justin Gabriel) and Sonjay Dutt in a hot opening match-up with Black coming out victorious. The crowd reception for the match was great.
- Vordell Walker, Peter Kassa and Brad Attitude came out on tops against Cliff Compton, Jason Kincaid and Ali Akbar. The match was competitive with Kincaid and Kassa bieng the most impressive among the lot. Kassa finished of the match with an attractively nice 630 splash to pick up the win.
- Tessa Blanchard beat Lei’D Tapa in what was a smooth and good women’s match. In a heel move, Tapa went on to beat up Tessa after the match ended.
- The show resumed with the head of GFW Jeff Jarret coming out to thank the fans for thier support for the promotion. As he was promoting his WrestleCade appearnace for this November in Winston-Salem, Matt Hardy appeared on the big screen and issued a challenge to Jarret to a match at WrestleCade to which Jeff readily accepted, thus making it official.
- The Bravado Brothers that consist of Harlem Bravado and Lance Bravado beat The Washington Bullets that is made up of Jon Willaims and Trey Williams.
- Trevor Lee retained his OMEGA Heavyweight Championship against Andrew Everett in what was one of the best indie matches of the year and a must see for all wrestling and indie fans. Post match they showed respect by embracing each other.
- The Lee-Everett match was top notch with Jeff Hardy coming out after the match to praise both Lee and Everett. He stayed to meet the fans at intermission and supposedly had a huge line of fans to greet him.
- Nick Aldis (Magnus) beat Lance Hoyt in the main event in which Aldis’s GFW Global Title tournament spot was on the line.
