If you get decimated by Brock Lesnar, it is very difficult to bounce back and return to action, that too, the very next night. The Biggest Little Man of WWE is an exception to this as he not only collided with The Beast Incarnate for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series but also wrestled two matches on the following RAW.

On this week's episode of the Red brand, Rey Mysterio won a Fatal 4-way match against Ricochet, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre to become the no. one contender for the WWE United States Championship. Following his victory, he took on the champion, AJ Styles, and after a hard-fought battle emerged as the victor and the new United States Champion.

Rey Mysterio's record in Allstate Arena

Apart from the wins on the latest episode of RAW, Rey Mysterio has enjoyed several other heartwarming moments at the venue, Allstate Arena. 13 years ago at WWE WrestleMania 22, which was held at the same location, Mysterio defied the odds and defeated Kurt Angle and Randy Orton to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.

After the tragic death of his friend and former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero, Mysterio's ascend to the top of the promotion and eventually winning the gold at the grandest stage made the moment extra special for every fan of the sport.

WWE pointed out this fact after Rey toppled AJ Styles on RAW and the new United States Champion exclaimed how the Allstate Arena has been of great significance to him.

Now that Rey Mysterio is the US title-holder, it will be interesting to see who steps up to the new champion.
