Rhea Ripley to debut a new faction on WWE RAW? 5 Superstars who can join her side against The Judgment Day
Rhea Ripley’s return during the July 8 episode of WWE RAW was received with a thunderous reception. She was seen pretty much furious, though, while making her way to the ring, as current WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio were about to lock lips.
Ripley’s return has officially ignited the feud between her and Morgan since the latter vowed to take everything away from her. It is safe to assume that The Nightmare is likely aware of what is happening within The Judgment Day and will probably deal with its members, especially her Dom Dom.
There is also this possibility of Rhea coming up with a new faction due to the recent turmoil surrounding The Judgment Day. If this comes to fruition in the coming weeks, who would she be tapping into their services?
Here's a look at a list of WWE Superstars whom Rhea Ripley can recruit in her possible new faction:
#5. Raquel Rodriguez
Raquel Rodriguez is currently sidelined due to her medical condition known as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). For those unaware, Rodriguez and Ripley have been best buddies in real life since their NXT days. The two may have had intense fights inside the squared circle, but their friendship has remained solid through the years.
Currently, there’s no definite timeline on when the three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion will return to in-ring action. However, she could make a shocking return and align with The Nightmare.
#4. Stephanie Vaquer
Stephanie Vaquer’s name recently made the rounds across the wrestling world as it was revealed that she signed with WWE. The 31-year-old professional wrestler started her career at the young age of 16 and is currently one of the most sought-after names in the business.
She’s a former Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) World Women’s Champion and a former New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) Strong Women’s Champion.
Reports suggest that Stephanie is headed to NXT, though she already had her first match during a WWE live event in Mexico this weekend. However, if the narrative calls for it, The Dark Angel could join Rhea Ripley if the former Women's World Champion decides to break away from The Judgment Day.
#3. Bronson Reed
BIG Bronson Reed could also be approached by Rhea Ripley if she plans on forming a new faction in WWE. The former NXT North American Champion will certainly be a formidable asset for The Nightmare in her battle against his former stablemates.
Reed has always held Mami in high regard. The Adelaide-born star has heaped praise on The Eradicator in past interviews.
Another thing worth noting is that both stars hail from Australia. This could lead to a possible alliance between the duo if Ripley decides to form a new faction.
#2. Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman is another plausible superstar who could join Rhea Ripley if she opts to form a team to feud with The Judgment Day.
The Monster Among Men is currently locked in a heated rivalry with the heel faction. His most recent encounter with the faction was during the July 8 episode of Monday Night RAW, where Strowman, alongside The Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz), went toe-to-toe with JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, and Carlito.
Hence, if the former Women's Royal Rumble winner decides to form a new faction, she could approach the former Universal Champion.
#1. Rhea Ripley could convince Damian Priest to leave The Judgment Day
Reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest remained loyal to Rhea Ripley in her absence, and it may well seem like a no-brainer that The Archer of Infamy would join The Nightmare if she indeed decides to form a new team.
During Ripley’s absence, Priest constantly alerted the rest of The Judgment Day that Liv Morgan should not be trusted. El Campeon was seemingly the only member of the faction who stayed in touch with Ripley. Further, it was also seen how delighted Priest was when his Terror Twin returned to confront Dom Dom last week.
