Rhea Ripley to be replaced by another former WWE Women’s World Champion in WarGames match? Potential Survivor Series twist explored
Rhea Ripley returned to WWE on tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW after three weeks of absence. She was attacked by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on NXT and was deemed out for an undisclosed period.
However, Morgan and Rodriguez might yet again injure the former Women's Champion and send her packing before Survivor Series: WarGames PLE. And who could replace her then? It's none other than former WWE Superstar Becky Lynch.
The contest for Survivor Series looks to be a five-on-five WarGames match. It will be Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair against Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. However, Morgan and the company might pull another dirty trick from their bag and remove Ripley from the scene. The two looked visibly anguished backstage after getting beaten by Ripley and her mates on RAW earlier tonight.
The speculations of Becky Lynch replacing Ripley at Survivor Series also make sense because the former champion has unfinished business with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
Becky Lynch lost her Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel 2024. She also lost the subsequent rematch on Monday Night RAW, and Dominik Mysterio played a key role both times. That was also The Man's last match in the company, and a few days later, her contract with the promotion expired.
The chances of Lynch returning at Survivor Series are also high because she hasn't officially retired from wrestling, and the marquee event is known for some sensational comebacks. Ripley has already had her share with Liv Morgan, with two title matches at different PLEs. It might be Becky Lynch now replacing her.
Becky Lynch opens up on her WWE return
The former WWE Women's World Champion recently dropped hints of her major return to the Stamford-based promotion.
While speaking on her panel at the Vulture Festival, Becky said that she won't go out with Dominik Mysterio slamming a cage door on her face.
“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen," said Lynch.
Her rivalry with Liv Morgan also goes far because The Miracle Kid has said several times that she has retired Becky Lynch.
It remains to be seen whether The Man will return to Survivor Series to face Morgan and her mates in the WarGames match.
