Ric Flair joins the Podcast wars with CBS Sports, Seth Rollins situation quiets down
- WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is the latest high profile wrestling star to get his own podcast. The Nature Boy has signed a deal with CBS Sports, which uses the Play.it platform. His show will drop once a week, but there’s no start date as of yet.
Play.it is the same network that ECW original and TNA announcer Taz is part of. It seems CBS are looking to rival the flourishing Podcast One network, which features shows from the likes of Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Jim Ross and Roddy Piper. Forget the Monday Night Wars, it’s now the podcasting wars!
- There have been now tangible repercussions following the Seth Rollins / Zahra Schreiber nude photo leaks. Rollins’ ex-fiance has not posted any more details about the situation, and both Rollins and Schreiber have also begun interacting as normal on Twitter. As Triple H noted on the NXT conference call, it’s just “an unfortunate personal incident,” and it seems like everyone has moved on.
