WWE News: Ric Flair wants Triple H vs Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33
It’s that time of the year when the wrestling fans start to speculate the matches they would like to witness at WrestleMania.
While the WWE Universe is buzzing about a potential clash between The Undertaker and John Cena at WrestleMania 33, Hall of Famer Ric Flair commented that if one of his dream matches becomes a reality, it will surpass the hype surrounding Cena vs Undertaker.
In the recent episode of his podcast, The Ric Flair Show, the Nature Boy remarked that an encounter between the 14-time World Champion Triple H and Shane McMahon will be the "biggest match" on any given match card.
Although Flair is “not sure it'll happen”, he believes that a match of this magnitude will attract a bigger audience than a match between The Undertaker and John Cena.

The 16-time World Champion also commented that the intensity of Shane-o-Mac vs Triple H will keep the viewers at the edge of their seats, furthermore, he added that such a match can "knock you off your chair and that's not a job for a chair."
Considering the present development in storylines, Ric Flair’s dream match may just become official for WrestleMania 33. It is evident that Shane McMahon, who is the Commissioner of Smackdown Live, has had his issues with Stephanie McMahon, the Commissioner of the red brand.
It won’t be surprising if he had to cross paths with her husband, Triple H. Hence, the tension between the two brands of WWE can be utilised to build up a match between the Cerebral Assassin and the Prodigal Son.
However, the fans would like to witness Triple H take on Seth Rollins instead. The hype for this match had already started since Rollins won the WWE Championship and it reached a new extent when Triple H cost him an opportunity to win the WWE Universal Championship.
Even if we consider that a match between Shane McMahon and Triple H will happen at WrestleMania 33, it is unlikely that the McMahon family feud will be unable to outshine the potential clash between The Undertaker and John Cena, especially if it marks the final WrestleMania match of the Deadman.
In the podcast, Ric Flair also expressed his desire to watch his daughter Charlotte Flair battle the famous UFC fighter Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania. Even if this match doesn’t take place, Flair assures that Charlotte will be “in a main event somewhere.”
