Roddy Piper accuses Steve Austin for removing his Podcast One show
It seems there is bad blood brewing between Rowdy Roddy Piper and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Roddy Piper’s podcast, Piper’s Pit, has left Podcast One and is now being posted on other platforms. Piper released a podcast yesterday and blamed Steve Austin for his podcast being moved off of the service.
The podcast titled “Stone Cold” was taken off of Podcast One six hours after being released. The podcast featured Will Sasso impersonating Stone Cold Steve Austin. It was his stab at satire, with questions related to heat with Vince McMahon and why Austin quit WWE multiple times.
Podcast One published the show but took it down roughly six hours after posting it, apparently because Austin was none too pleased with it. Piper said he was then threatened to be fired and moved on from Podcast One.
Piper said he has been fired before and can deal with it, but would atleast want to do something that warranted firing. Piper’s co-host stated that he didn’t think anything went too far, and more people needed to take it as a joke. Piper’s co-host said: “Stone Cold strikes me as the type of person who doesn’t have a sense of humour”. Piper added: “It’s satire. I don't take shots. This was in love”.
