Roman Reigns' betrayed; Jade Cargill's mystery attacker - 4 WWE stars who could turn heel on SmackDown

Triple H will be looking to go all out in the fallout episode of WWE SmackDown after Survivor Series: WarGames. The Chief Content Officer of the company could pack a few surprises for fans in the upcoming episode of the blue brand.

SmackDown has seen many stars build some top storylines ahead of WarGames. While some got a chance to perform at the PLE, others are still in the building stage for some future rivalries.

WWE fans could see one or more stars show their true colors on the upcoming episode of the show. A heel turn for some stars might be on the cards, and a massive return could also shake up the women’s roster.

Check out the four big names who could turn heel on Friday’s SmackDown.

Frustrations have been rising in the WWE SmackDown tag team division in recent months. The Street Profits was once regarded as the best tag team in WWE by many. However, their stocks have fallen in recent months.

Apart from Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano have been receiving mixed bookings on the brand. Ciampa seems to have had enough of losing and has been on edge of late.

The Blackheart could snap on the episode following Survivor Series and attack the Motor City Machine Guns. He could also lay out a warning to his babyface partner Gargano, offering him to either join the dark side or go his separate ways.

A heel turn from Ciampa and Gargano will surely spice up the brand’s tag team division. Fans have already seen what Tommaso Ciampa is capable of as a heel in NXT.

#3. Charlotte Flair could make her much-awaited return

The Queen’s return is imminent, and many will bow when she makes her way down the ramp on SmackDown again. The upcoming episode of the blue brand could be lucky enough to host the return of Charlotte Flair.

Flair works extremely well as a heel and could come in to attack a top champion. She could even be revealed as the woman who attacked Jade Cargill some weeks ago and injured her.

The SmackDown women’s roster is stacked, and The Queen’s return will only make it better. With many babyfaces working at the top, it would make sense to see Charlotte Flair return as a heel.

#2. Naomi has been working with Bianca Belair in Jade Cargill's absence

Naomi seems to be working extremely well with Bianca Belair. This has been especially true since Jade Cargill was found laid out backstage on top of a car.

The former women's champion may be hoping to replace Cargill as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and team with Belair. However, the EST might believe it would be better to give up the titles and let some other teams compete for them before her partner returns.

That could see Naomi attack Bianca Belair and turn heel. She has been working as a babyface since her return to WWE, and a heel turn could help push her up the roster as she hasn’t done much of note.

#1. Paul Heyman could finally betray Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown

Paul Heyman returned last month to surprise many with a massive announcement. He brought back CM Punk to team up with Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.

The dream team sounded too good to be true before Punk revealed that he returned at Heyman’s request and The Wiseman owed him a favor. No one knows what The Best in the World could ask of Paul Heyman in the future, but rest assured it would be something good.

Meanwhile, Heyman himself could do something sinister on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. He could switch sides after the OG Bloodline defeated Solo Sikoa’s group and help the heels beat down Reigns and his family.

WWE may want Roman Reigns to appear on RAW after the brand moves to Netflix. Paul Heyman could offer the two men a match with the stipulation of the loser leaving SmackDown and only the real Tribal Chief ruling the brand.

It would make sense as Reigns could be forced to leave SmackDown after Sikoa defeats the OTC with Paul Heyman’s help, especially with Jimmy Uso possibly out with injury.
