Roman Reigns to break his promise, on-screen couple to part ways? - 4 Shocking betrayals Triple H could pull off at WWE Bad Blood
With WWE Bad Blood right around the corner, fans are excited to see what surprises Triple H has in store for them. Premium live events like these rarely follow a straightforward storytelling route, and it is almost guaranteed that there will be twists planned to throw everyone off.
One of the most classic twists happens in the form of betrayal, something which seems to be more than likely for Bad Blood. The stage is set with uneasy alliances, hidden agendas, and more. This makes the event a prime place for stars turning on each other unexpectedly, some of which potential scenarios will be explored below.
#4. Liv Morgan could turn on Dominik Mysterio at WWE Bad Blood
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio seem to be all but inseparable at this point. Their conspiracy to outwit Rhea Ripley worked wonders at SummerSlam, leading to a pinfall loss for The Eradicator for the first time since May 2022. Their rivalry is far from over, though, as they are scheduled to face each other again at Bad Blood.
While it may seem unlikely, there is a chance that Liv Morgan may turn on Dominik at the PLE. Liv has been shown to be quite volatile and emotional at times. If she fails to defend her title against Rhea, it may be enough to make her upset to the point where she leaves Dominik's side. This would also make Dominik's next move interesting, considering he will barely have anyone as an ally afterward.
#3. Naomi could attack Bayley at WWE Bad Blood
Granted, Naomi and Bayley have not exactly been allies on SmackDown, but they did work quite well together when it came to facing their common foe, Tiffany Stratton. In their Tornado tag team match against Nia Jax and Tiffany, the duo had their own interests to look out for, as the person who got the pinfall win would get a shot at the title. With the match result being controversial, the two stars were forced to participate in a number one contender's match, which Bayley won.
It is quite likely that Naomi hasn't given up the pursuit yet and is understandably upset with her losing another chance. At WWE Bad Blood, Naomi could make a surprise entrance by turning heel and interfering in Bayley and Nia Jax's match. What happens after that is anyone's guess.
#2. Tiffany Stratton could betray Nia Jax at WWE Bad Blood
Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax's mentor-mentee relationship has worked out quite well for the former. Tiffany being the Money in the Bank briefcase holder gives her a massive opportunity to take a title, but fans are left wondering at this point which belt she will go for.
Many have been speculating a betrayal in store for Nia, considering how harsh she is with Tiffany. If the latter does intend to turn on Nia Jax, Bad Blood could be the perfect place to do it, right after Nia has her match with Bayley. This could potentially lead to an easy win for Tiffany.
#1. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' partnership may not work out at WWE Bad Blood
Anybody can see that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' alliance is uneasy at best, and a betrayal is not exactly unexpected at Bad Blood. Many even believe that it would be a miracle if Roman and Cody manage to stay on the same page throughout the match.
The OTC is likely to be the one to initiate the betrayal and break his promise, although that would be a bit predictable.
The Tribal Chief has been a heel for quite a while now in WWE. However, he returned as a babyface at SummerSlam to face The Bloodline. The bigger twist would be if, in the tag team match at Bad Blood, The American Nightmare turns on Roman and becomes a heel. It would make for a truly unexpected moment. Admittedly, Cody Rhodes is an extremely convincing babyface, but that same factor would definitely lend the twist a shocking reaction.
