Roman Reigns to bury the hatchet with two of his biggest rivals? Exploring potential deal to ensure success at WWE Bad Blood
Roman Reigns has made an emphatic return to SmackDown but is short on allies. Faced with the task of taking on Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline at WWE Bad Blood, he finds himself all alone. Granted, he will have Cody Rhodes by his side, but even that is an uneasy partnership. So, to ensure success come October 5, 2024, Reigns may just bury the hatchet with two of his biggest rivals.
The two big rivals in question here are Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. While The Viper and The Prizefighter are good friends with Cody Rhodes, there is no doubt that they absolutely loathe Roman Reigns. With that in mind, they might refuse to stand by The American Nightmare's side, given he is colluding with the enemy. So, it may be up to The Original Tribal Chief to make peace.
The reason why Roman Reigns needs to step up is simple - both he and Cody Rhodes are outnumbered. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu by themselves are a handful, so imagine how difficult it will be once Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa insert themselves into the match. As such, to ensure victory at Bad Blood, Reigns may just approach both Orton and KO and attempt to make amends.
With this week's episode of SmackDown just a few hours away, perhaps we will see such an interaction. It will be interesting to see how Orton and Owens handle it, should Reigns approach them. But, this is just speculation and there is no telling what will go down tonight.
Roman Reigns could receive some support in the form of a Wiseman
As mentioned earlier, Roman Reigns has been all alone since returning to WWE. There are barely any remnants of The Bloodline he once led. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn are on RAW, Jimmy Uso is injured, and Solo Sikoa has taken his place. However, he may not be alone for much longer, as he could receive some much-needed support heading into tonight's SmackDown.
Paul Heyman, the former Wiseman of The Bloodline, could be making an appearance tonight. Taking to X, the Hall of Famer tweeted out a video of himself in a plane, flying over the clouds, and that has got fans thinking. Could we see a reunion between The Wiseman and The OTC tonight on SmackDown?
It would be quite interesting to see Paul Heyman back in action. He is bound to reunite with Reigns sometime. Hopefully, the WWE Universe will be treated to the same tonight.
