Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline may not be the main event of WWE Bad Blood. Two weeks ago on SmackDown, The American Nightmare and The Head of the Table signed a contract to face The Bloodline at Bad Blood.
When this match was confirmed, many fans thought it would be the main event of the show as it has the two biggest stars of the company, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns in it. However, that might not be the case.
According to a report, USA Network over the weekend, published an article that stated CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre will main event Bad Blood. This could be because of the level that storyline has reached and the match will be inside Hell in a Cell.
The segment between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at Georgia Tech was top-class. It will be very difficult for the company higher-ups to justify not having Reigns and Rhodes against The Bloodline in the main event.
WWE Bad Blood will be aired on 5 October from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. This city is the home of Cody Rhodes and has a special connection with Roman Reigns.
Things constantly keep changing in the WWE. Even though the above report suggests Drew McIntyre and CM Punk will be the main event, the odds look very good for plans to change.

The confrontation between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes this past Friday was a masterclass segment. The fans loved it so much, that some are even calling it one of the best segments in history.
Apart from the fans, a certain WWE Hall of Famer was impressed with the segment. Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray revealed every detail he liked about the segment.
"What was there not to love about it? The way Roman pulled up, the way Cody pulled up, the way they met in the middle of the field. What being in that particular place at that particular moment in time meant. What the city meant. Everything about it was awesome. Deep-rooted storytelling. The best thing the WWE did was not have that face-to-face happen in an arena."
The American Nightmare and The OTC will face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood. It will be interesting to see if Reigns and Rhodes will get along with each other.
