Roman Reigns' cousin to make WWE return after 5 year-absence and join The Bloodline story? Exploring the possibility

Roman Reigns’ return as a heel at SummerSlam 2020 was one of the most pivotal moments of the modern WWE era. Since then, The Bloodline saga has become the backbone of the company's programming, showing no signs of slowing down.

With recent signings like Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, WWE has kept this storyline fresh and evolving. Now, there’s speculation that another of Reigns’ cousins could soon join The Bloodline saga, that being none other than Lance Anoa'i.

Reports indicate that Lance, the son of former WWF star Samu, has signed with WWE. The 32-year-old has been on the company's radar for several years, having had multiple tryouts. In 2019, he even competed in a match on RAW against Shane McMahon, where Roman Reigns stepped in to save him from a post-match attack.

Currently, Lance is sidelined with an injury, which has delayed any creative plans for his debut. However, he will be expected to join The Bloodline storyline once he’s medically cleared.

Roman Reigns getting pinned at Crown Jewel might have been his own decision, according to former WWE writer

Roman Reigns being pinned in a match has become a rare sight in recent years. Hence, many fans were shocked when Solo Sikoa pinned the OTC clean during their six-man tag team match at Crown Jewel.

On The Coach and Bro Show, Vince Russo suggested that this outcome might have been Reigns' own decision. Russo speculated that Reigns may have chosen to take the pin to elevate the new Bloodline, solidifying their credibility as top heels on SmackDown heading into Survivor Series.

"Is it possible that's what Roman wanted to do? We've been saying all along and I've got heat for this too. We've been saying this all along. The current Bloodline is the B-Team. If that is the feeling, and I promise you that is the feeling within WWE. If that is the feeling, is it that far-fetched for Roman to say, 'Let me put them over'? That may bring them up a level, that may even us out a little bit going into Survivor Series. I would not be surprised if this was Roman's suggestion," Russo said.

It will be interesting to see what twists and turns unfold in The Bloodline saga moving forward.
