Roman Reigns to face 31-year-old WWE Superstar at Royal Rumble 2025? Chances explored
The year 2024 is almost at an end, and with it comes a new leaf for several superstars. This should be the case for Roman Reigns, who might be looking to kick 2025 off with a bang. Looking forward to WWE's first PLE of the year, the Original Tribal Chief could find himself going head-to-head with a 31-year-old WWE Superstar.
Roman Reigns has seen his fair share of success of late, but he still has a lot of business to settle. While he may be the OTC, he still lacks one crucial thing that would cement his place as the one and only Tribal Chief in WWE. Ever since his return, Reigns has been obsessed with the Ula Fala. So, at Royal Rumble 2025, he could finally get his singles match against 31-year-old Solo Sikoa.
So far, some may say that The Street Champion has done an incredible job of ducking Roman Reigns. However, he could no longer deny the OTC. Having fallen short at Survivor Series WarGames, a singles match would be the only way for Sikoa to have Reigns acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief. And, Royal Rumble 2025 would be the perfect setting to put the Ula Fala on the line.
Royal Rumble 2025 makes the most sense as it gives WWE ample time to build up the match. Moreover, it would also allow them to introduce more elements into the storyline, be it roadblocks for Reigns or additional help for Solo. But, at the end of the day, this remains nothing more than speculation.
Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline have a new problem to deal with on RAW
Solo Sikoa and the Ula Fala aside, Roman Reigns has other things to focus on. Even though the OG Bloodline recently reunited, they have already made their fair share of enemies. Everyone knows about Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins' issues with them, but now another familiar foe has made his presence felt.
Returning to Monday Night RAW this week, Drew McIntyre took out Sami Zayn in the main event. It was a huge moment that seemingly established The Scottish Warrior's new purpose on the red brand. He was back with one thing on his mind, and that could be finally getting his revenge on The Bloodline.
Now, the attack on Sami Zayn aside, there was also the matter of Jey Uso's mystery attacker. While the theory is that McIntyre was the one responsible, the possibility of there being another superstar who had issues with The Bloodline cannot be ruled out. In other words, Reigns and company need to be wary now, not just on SmackDown, but on RAW as well.
