Roman Reigns to form a new Shield to fight The Rock, 2 new Judgment Day members? 4 twists that could happen in WWE this monthÂ
WWE has made a spectacular start to October 2024, which has set the tone for the rest of the year. The recently concluded Bad Blood Premium Live Event received positive reviews from fans and critics alike.
The creative team had several big surprises in store for fans at the spectacle, be it Goldberg's return or The Rock making a comeback to confront Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. But this could merely be the start, as several other twists could be planned for the rest of the month.
The following piece will explore four such potential swerves that could happen in WWE in the rest of October 2024.
#4 Raquel Rodriguez and Logan Paul could join The Judgment Day on WWE RAW
Raquel Rodriguez made a shocking return at WWE Bad Blood 2024 to help Liv Morgan retain the Women's World Title. However, the 33-year-old star hasn't officially joined The Judgment Day.
That said, things may change as soon as next week, as Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio could officially welcome Raquel Rodriguez as the newest member of the heel faction. However, the Texas-born star may not be the only one, as Liv and "Dirty" Dom could further strengthen their stable by recruiting Logan Paul.
The Maverick is currently on hiatus, but he could return in time for WWE Crown Jewel 2024. Given Logan's close bond with "Dirty" Dom, it may not come as a surprise if the company aligns him with The Judgment Day following his return.
#3 Kevin Owens could turn on Randy Orton
Kevin Owens turned on Cody Rhodes, laying waste to him in the parking area after Bad Blood went off the air. Given that, a potential rematch between the duo seems likely.
The American Nightmare is set to lock horns with Gunther at Crown Jewel 2024. Hence, the company may save the same for later by booking The Prizefighter in a feud against Randy Orton. Following his attack on Rhodes, Owens could turn on his partner, The Viper, assaulting him on this week's SmackDown.
#2 The Rock could have The Bloodline cost Seth Rollins against Bronson Reed on WWE RAW
Seth Rollins returned last week during the Last Monster Standing Match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman to cost The Auszilla a potential win. Following that, The Visionary challenged Reed to a potential match at the time and place of his choosing.
Given that, the duo could lock horns with each other very soon on the red brand. However, things may not end well for Rollins in the potential bout, as The Rock could have The Bloodline interfere and cost him a potential win.
Given his recent history with The Visionary, The Final Boss making life difficult for him on the red brand makes sense.
#1 Roman Reigns could form a new Shield in WWE
If The Rock does get involved with Seth Rollins on the red brand, this could lead to a massive reunion. With Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso currently busy, Roman Reigns could mend fences with his former Shield partner, reuniting with him against The Final Boss, who is rumored to replace Solo Sikoa as the leader of The Bloodline.
While an original Shield reunion may not happen, given Jon Moxley (aka Dean Ambrose) is signed to AEW, The Original Tribal Chief can form a new version of the iconic group with Seth Rollins and Jimmy Uso. Jimmy returned at Bad Blood to help Reigns defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, and he could be the third member in Roman's Shield 2.0.
