Roman Reigns to form a new Shield, Jey Uso to join Solo due to former champ? 4 predictions for The Bloodline saga at Crown Jewel 2024

The latest episode of WWE SmackDown saw Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso brutalized by The Bloodline. The heel faction launched a brutal attack on Big Uce following his match against Solo Sikoa.

This led to Roman Reigns showing up to make the save. Despite The Original Tribal Chief's efforts, the numbers game proved too much for the babyfaces, as both Jimmy and Reigns fell victim to the new Bloodline.

Meanwhile, the company has kicked off its build towards its next premium live event, Crown Jewel 2024. The lineup for the spectacle has started shaping up. Fans are curious to know how The Bloodline story unfolds at the event.

To feed into the widespread curiosity, here are four bold predictions for The Bloodline saga at Crown Jewel 2024:

#4. Roman Reigns could take on Solo Sikoa in a singles match at Crown Jewel 2024

The unlikely pairing of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood 2024. While his partner and former rival, The American Nightmare, will face Gunther at the Saudi spectacle, Reigns could face The Street Champion at the event.

The Original Tribal Chief could be challenged by the self-proclaimed Bloodline leader to a match at Crown Jewel 2024. While a Reigns vs. Solo encounter is an enticing prospect, the creative team could further spice things up by having The Street Champion put the Ula Fala on the line.

#3. The Rock could return to lay waste to Roman Reigns

The Rock made a stunning return during the closing moments of Bad Blood 2024 and sent a message to Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns following their win against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The Brahma Bull could once again surprise fans by making a comeback at Crown Jewel 2024.

If so, things may turn out differently this time around. The Final Boss could lay waste to Roman Reigns before revealing himself as the true leader behind Solo's uprising. This potential angle could then plant seeds of a WarGames match between Team Roman vs. The Rock's Bloodline.

#2. Jey Uso could join Solo Sikoa, only to turn on him and align with Reigns

Solo's Bloodline currently doesn't have a Wiseman. The Street Champion could change that by recruiting his father, Rikishi, as the new Wiseman of the faction in the coming days.

Following that, the wrestling veteran could work to strengthen The Bloodline by adding new members. While many expect Jey Uso to align with Roman Reigns in his war against The Bloodline, the creative team may throw a curveball at fans by having Main Event Jey join Solo Sikoa due to former Intercontinental champ, Rikishi.

As fans saw, Roman Reigns dismissed the idea of joining forces with Jey on the recent episode of WWE SmackDown. This is bound to not go down well with The Yeet Master. Furthermore, Main Event Jey doesn't have a good bond with either Jimmy or The OTC on WWE TV. Hence, it may not be a tough task for Rikishi to persuade Jey to join Solo, and the same could happen at Crown Jewel 2024.

However, The Yeet Master's potential partnership with Solo may not last too long, and he may turn on The Street Champion before the Survivor Series PLE to join Reigns.

#1. Roman Reigns could form a new Shield with Seth Rollins and Jimmy

While Roman Reigns may have refused to mend fences with Jey Uso on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, that may not be the case when it comes to his former Shield partner, Seth Rollins. The Visionary is currently involved in an angle with Bronson Reed on RAW.

Their match is not scheduled for Crown Jewel, and will likely happen on WWE RAW shortly. However, things may not end well for Rollins in the bout as he could lose the encounter due to The Bloodline's interference.

Given The Visionary's recent history with The Rock, it may not come as a surprise if The Final Boss has The Bloodline cost Rollins his match against Bronson Reed. This potential angle could then lead to The Architect getting involved with The Bloodline.

Given a common enemy, The OTC could mend fences with Rollins, leading to the formation of a new Shield at Crown Jewel 2024. Apart from Rollins and Reigns, Jimmy Uso could be the third member of The Shield 2.0, given Jon Moxley, aka Dean Ambrose, is currently signed with AEW.
