Roman Reigns' former ally, current champion - 5 major WWE Superstars who will miss Survivor Series
WWE Survivor Series will take place tomorrow night at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. It is one of WWE's biggest events of the year, but several major names are currently not booked for a match at the premium live event.
There will be two WarGames matches at Survivor Series, as well as three titles on the line. However, some notable names have been left off the card for Survivor Series tomorrow night.
Listed below are five WWE Superstars who will miss Survivor Series 2024.
#5. Cody Rhodes will not be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship at Survivor Series
Cody Rhodes is currently involved in a bitter rivalry on SmackDown, but will not be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship at Survivor Series. Instead, The American Nightmare will be facing Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
Owens brutally attacked Randy Orton earlier this month and hit The Viper with a Piledriver. Cody Rhodes is out for revenge but will have to wait until next month to get his hands on The Prizefighter.
#4. Randy Orton will not be in action at Survivor Series
Randy Orton and Kevin Owens were supposed to battle at WWE Crown Jewel in a singles match, but the match was thrown out after both men were unable to control themselves even before the bell rang. Owens hit Orton with a Piledriver on the November 8 episode of SmackDown, and The Legend Killer was taken out of the arena in an ambulance.
Orton has not returned to television since the brutal attack by Owens earlier this month. The Viper could be planning on making his return soon, but will not have a match at Survivor Series tomorrow night.
#3. Braun Strowman will not be competing at the premium live event
Braun Strowman defeated Bronson Reed in the Last Monster Standing Match on the September 30 episode of WWE RAW. Seth Rollins interfered in the closing moments and hit Reed with a Stomp on top of the steel steps to help Strowman emerge victorious.
Unfortunately, The Monster of All Monsters suffered a torn groin during the match and has not returned to television since. The former Universal Champion could be cleared to return in the weeks ahead but is not scheduled to be in action at Survivor Series.
#2. Jade Cargill has been removed from WWE Survivor Series
Jade Cargill was supposed to be on Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, and Naomi's team for the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series. However, a mystery star attacked her last Friday night on SmackDown and the 32-year-old has since been ruled out of the match.
There were initial reports that Cargill had suffered an injury in real life, but that does not appear to be the case. However, the attack has taken Cargill out of the Women's WarGames Match at Survivor Series, as well as the tournament to crown the inaugural Women's United States Champion.
#1. Seth Rollins turned down his chance to compete at Survivor Series
Sami Zayn and The Usos attempted to recruit Seth Rollins to the OG Bloodline's team for the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series, but he turned down their offer. The Visionary claimed that he would never team with Roman Reigns again, and also declined Solo Sikoa's offer to join his faction for the match tomorrow night.
Paul Heyman returned last Friday night on SmackDown and revealed that CM Punk would be the final member of Roman Reigns' team at Survivor Series. The former World Heavyweight Champion is rumored to be continuing a major rivalry following the premium live event but is not booked to compete tomorrow night in Canada.
