Roman Reigns' former rival to return to SmackDown after 8 months and join forces with Jimmy Uso? Exploring potential reunion
Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso have finally been able to find each other, but it's clear that they are not enough to overcome The Bloodline that Solo Sikoa has put together. Jimmy Uso mentioned his brother Jey last week on SmackDown, but while Jey is currently pushing forward on WWE RAW as the Intercontinental Champion, there is one former member of the group who could be open to a return.
Sami Zayn recently lost his chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship when Gunther defeated him on RAW. Now that he has no story moving forward, he could be open to returning to SmackDown for the first time since February.
Zayn and Roman Reigns have had their own issues, with Zayn walking away from The Bloodline and later joining forces with Jey Uso on RAW. Sami and Kevin Owens even took the Tag Team Championships from The Usos, so there is a lot of heat between the three men, but he could be open to helping his former friend.
Zayn was once an honorary member of The Bloodline and was close friends with Jimmy Uso. If anyone is going to step in and help Roman in his moment of need, it could be Sami Zayn.
Will Roman Reigns be open to working with Sami Zayn again?
Roman Reigns needs help and it seems that he would take it in any form. Sami Zayn did try to take away his Undisputed Universal Championship when he battled him at Elimination Chamber, but he may decide to put their issues behind them.
Sami always did what he thought was right in The Bloodline and Reigns is now a very different person. As a face, Roman may be able to connect with Sami a lot better than they did before and he could be the answer to the Jacob Fatu issue.
