Roman Reigns to get his real-life friend's help; major alliance with 2 new stars? 5 things The OTC can do on WWE SmackDown
WWE SmackDown will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, tonight. The show will feature the fallout from the beat-down Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso suffered at the hands of The Bloodline last week.
Roman Reigns will be looking to get payback on Solo Sikoa and his men. With WWE Crown Jewel just eight days away, things could heat up tonight if the Stamford-based promotion has plans for The Original Tribal Chief and The Bloodline at the premium live event.
So without further ado, let's take a look at five things Roman Reigns can do on WWE SmackDown tonight.
#5. An alliance with The Motor City Machine Guns
The Motor City Machine Guns will have their second match in WWE tonight. The duo will take on DIY for a shot at The Bloodline's WWE Tag Team Championship.
It is likely that Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley will win the match. As they could challenge Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa on SmackDown next week, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso may join forces with them.
The Bloodline could attack the two former TNA stars after they get the win over Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. The OTC and Jimmy could then come out to save them.
This could also lead to Reigns and Jimmy helping The Motor City Machine Guns win the titles next week.
#4. Roman Reigns could challenge Solo Sikoa to a match at WWE Crown Jewel
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa have never faced each other in a one-on-one match. Their encounter in a tag team match at Bad Blood failed to end the dispute between them.
So, it may be time for them to settle things in a proper singles match. Following last week's assault, Roman Reigns could challenge his cousin to a match at WWE Crown Jewel for the status of the Tribal Chief.
#3. Roman Reigns could save Jey Uso from The Bloodline on SmackDown
Jey Uso showed up on SmackDown last week to confront The Bloodline. He refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief and threatened to take out Jacob Fatu.
The YEET Master faced consequences for his actions on the latest episode of WWE RAW as The Bloodline showed up in the main event to cost him the Intercontinental Championship. So, he may show up on the blue brand for payback tonight.
He would not be able to do much in a four-on-one situation, so he will probably suffer an assault if he shows up.
However, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso could come out to make the save. It would also plant the seeds for the original Bloodline's reunion.
#2. Roman Reigns could finally decide to acknowledge Solo Sikoa
Roman Reigns decided to fight Solo Sikoa instead of acknowledging him on SmackDown last week. This caused problems for him and Jimmy Uso.
To show that he has changed and only wants to protect his family, The Original Tribal Chief could end the dispute by agreeing to acknowledge Solo Sikoa.
WWE could shock fans and have Jey Uso interrupt Reigns right when he is about to acknowledge Sikoa.
#1. Roman Reigns could bring back Paul Heyman to SmackDown
Paul Heyman has not been seen on SmackDown since June 2024. The Wiseman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief and was brutalized for staying loyal to Roman Reigns.
On last week's episode of SmackDown, The Original Tribal Chief mentioned his Special Counsel and told Jimmy Uso that he would have handled the Jey Uso situation if he was by their side. This could be a hint about the WWE Hall of Famer returning soon.
It is possible that Paul Heyman finally returns alongside Roman Reigns tonight. The Wiseman could then call Jey Uso to try and convince him to help his family.
