Roman Reigns to help WWE star's wife to dethrone real-life Bloodline member? Exploring potential ploy to lure The Usos back against Solo Sikoa

Roman Reigns has been out of action since being assaulted by The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown last month. The Original Tribal Chief was able to deal with Solo Sikoa and his men initially, but the numbers game eventually led to his undoing.

The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion definitely needs some backup when he returns, so he may have to make amends with Jey Uso and also get Jimmy on his side.

One way Roman Reigns could reunite The Original Bloodline is by helping Naomi, the wife of Jimmy Uso, to dethrone reigning WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax. The Irresistible Force is a part of the Maivia lineage, but her family ties extend into the Anoa'i family due to a historical bond. Meanwhile, The Glow has not held singles gold in the Stamford-based promotion in seven years.

Naomi challenged former champion Bayley for the title earlier this year but failed to capture it. She could go after Nia Jax in the coming days, and Roman Reigns helping her dethrone The Irresistible Force would be a major first step towards a Bloodline reunion.

Jimmy may be hesitant to join Reigns after being brutalized by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga in April, but he may change his mind when he sees The OTC stepping up for his family. The former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion's involvement would probably cause his brother Jey to join them, too.

This would also lead to the WWE Women's division getting a lot of spotlight because of the potential involvement in the biggest storyline in pro wrestling. Naomi could join forces with Roman Reigns and The Usos, while Nia Jax could acknowledge Solo Sikoa as her Tribal Chief.

Roman Reigns could return to TV on WWE SmackDown's USA Network season premiere

WWE SmackDown aired for the final time on FOX last week. The blue brand will return to the USA Network this Friday. The deal will see the network being the show's home for the next five years.

The Stamford-based promotion is looking to kick things off in style, as the first SmackDown of the USA Network era will feature an Undisputed WWE Championship Steel Cage Match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. Additionally, the company has advertised the Original Tribal Chief in promotional posters on social media. However, there is no official news on his return.

Roman Reigns ruined the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief's chances of capturing gold in the main event of SummerSlam 2024, so he may do it again this Friday. He could show up and take out The Bloodline, which may distract Sikoa and help The American Nightmare get a win.

In another scenario, The Original Tribal Chief could prevent his cousin from escaping the cage and help his former rival secure another successful title defense.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold this Friday.
