Roman Reigns leads the men's SmackDown team to victory
Tonight on WWE Survivor Series, the Superstars of WWE NXT collided for the first time with the Superstars of WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown in a battle for brand supremacy. One such match on the card was the men's traditional Survivor Series elimination tag-team match.
Team RAW was captained by The Architect Seth Rollins and comprised of Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton. Roman Reigns captained the SmackDown team which consisted of Shorty G, Mustafa Ali, King Baron Corbin, and Braun Strowman. The roster for WWE NXT was announced by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Micheals during the pre-show and consisted of Tommaso Ciampa as the team captain, Damian Priest, Keith Lee, WWE NXT UK Champion WALTER, and Matt Riddle.
The outcome of the match
The match started with the utmost intensity and after lots of back-and-forth between Drew McIntyre, WALTER and Braun Strowman, the Imperium leader was the first person to get eliminated from the match courtesy of a Claymore Kick from McIntyre. Towards the end, Keith Lee shocked the entire WWE Universe by eliminating Seth Rollins.
Lee and Reigns were the only two Superstars left in the ring and for a moment it seemed like Lee would pick up the win for NXT but The Big Dog rallied back with a Spear to eliminate Lee and pick up a win for SmackDown.
