Roman Reigns' new Enforcer to debut, 10-time champ to quit after big loss? 4 predictions for WWE RAW and SmackDown this weekÂ
The penultimate episodes of WWE RAW and SmackDown before Bad Blood 2024 could have some big things in store. The company has done well in hyping the upcoming Premium Live Event, and fans should expect more of the same this week.
Jey Uso will lock horns with Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship on tonight's WWE RAW. Furthermore, Sami Zayn will take on Ludwig Kaiser, while Drew McIntyre will return to the red brand tonight.
Talking about SmackDown, this week's episode will once again revolve around Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' feud against The Bloodline. Further, Nia Jax's challenger for Bad Blood will also be revealed on Friday's show.
On that note, here are four bold predictions for WWE RAW and SmackDown this week:
#4. Jey Uso could quit WWE RAW
As mentioned earlier, Jey Uso will challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW tonight. However, Breakker isn't likely to drop his title anytime soon. Given that, Main Event Jey is likely to succumb to a tough loss against his rival.
If so, this could lead to the ten-time champion (four-time RAW Tag Team Champion and six-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion) quitting WWE RAW. Main Event Jey could leave the red brand, only to sign a new deal with SmackDown, leading to his involvement in The Bloodline saga.
#3. CM Punk could attack Drew McIntyre
After being brutalized by Drew McIntyre on the post-Bash in Berlin episode of RAW, CM Punk returned last week. While many expected a physical confrontation between The Second City Saint and The Scottish Psychopath, that didn't happen as McIntyre was absent from the show.
However, Drew will appear on tonight's WWE RAW. This segment may turn south as the former WWE Champion could be attacked by Punk. The Second City Saint has a score to settle with The Scottish Psychopath, and he could do that by taking out Drew tonight.
#2. Bayley vs Naomi could end in a no-contest
Bayley and Naomi will lock horns with each other to determine Nia Jax's opponent for Bad Blood. This came to fruition after the babyface duo double-pinned The Irresistible Force last week.
While it will be interesting to see how things unfold in the match, the odds of this ending in a no-contest can't be ruled out. The creative team could have Nia Jax's closest ally Tiffany Stratton interfere in the match, leading to the contest ending in a no result.
This potential angle would not only create more differences between Tiffany and Nia but also result in The Irresistible Force defending her title in a Triple Threat match at Bad Blood 2024.
#1. Roman Reigns' new Enforcer could debut on SmackDown
Son of late great Umaga, Zilla Fatu recently parted ways with Game Changer Wrestling. This has led to rumors that the real-life Bloodline member is headed to WWE.
If those rumors are indeed true, Zilla could make a blockbuster debut on this week's SmackDown. The up-and-coming superstar previously acknowledged Roman Reigns on social media, and could align with the OTC following his debut.
Given Reigns and Cody Rhodes are currently outnumbered against The Bloodline, the OTC could have Zilla debut as his new Enforcer to help him even the odds against the heel stable.
