Roman Reigns to reject Sami Zayn and recruit Samoan legend's son to his side? 3 things the OTC can do on SmackDown this week
Roman Reigns has had a rough couple of days. He had to put his pride aside and agree to Jey Uso's conditions to re-form the original Bloodline. However, things took a turn when he and The Usos were defeated by Solo Sikoa's team at Crown Jewel.
On top of everything, he was the one pinned by The Street Champion in the six-man tag team match. After the November 2 PLE, it was revealed that the former Undisputed WWE Champion would make his presence felt on SmackDown this week.
What actions will he take after this recent defeat? Will he confront the loss head-on, or will he unleash his fury over the unfortunate events that unfolded post-match?
Here are three potential directions for Roman Reigns on this week's SmackDown.
#3. Roman Reigns rejects Sami Zayn and recruits WWE legend Umaga's son Zilla Fatu
Sami Zayn lent a hand to Roman Reigns and The Usos during Crown Jewel when The Bloodline came after them post-match. However, he ended up accidentally kicking Reigns, leaving everyone confused about what he meant to do.
The Bloodline member showed up on RAW after the PLE to clear things up with Jey Uso. But then Jimmy Uso jumped in, claiming that Zayn intentionally kicked Reigns and that he was not someone they could rely on. Main Event Jey then invited Zayn to SmackDown to try and fix things.
On SmackDown, Roman Reigns might turn down Sami, calling him untrustworthy. Instead, he could bring in Zilla Fatu, the son of the legendary Umaga, as the latest recruit. Zilla, who’s been hanging out with Rikishi and has hinted at joining WWE, could amp up Roman’s crew.
His addition could mark a fresh chapter for The Bloodline and give Roman the edge he needs to take on the new Bloodline.
#2. Roman Reigns attacks Sami Zayn
Reigns and Zayn have some history together. The former WWE Champion previously kicked Sami Zayn out of The Bloodline because he just wasn't cutting it.
Zayn could argue that the kick was an accident, but Roman, who doesn't trust Sami at all, might take it as a calculated move. Roman could rush to the ring, fuming, and call Zayn out for what he sees as a deliberate attack.
Just as Zayn is about to say something, Roman could launch a fierce attack taking out the former Honorary Uce. He could make it clear that messing with The Original Tribal Chief would lead to some heavy repercussions.
#1. The OTC brings out his Wiseman
Amid the turmoil, Roman has been waging his war without the support of Paul Heyman, and it has left him appearing vulnerable.
Reigns could finally address the absence of his Wiseman. The once indomitable champion, known for his calculated dominance, could question where Heyman has gone, realizing that he’s been struggling without his support.
The Head of the Table could acknowledge that his reign had begun to falter without the Hall of Famer who helped him conquer everything. In an intense moment, Roman could call for Heyman to return, knowing that together they could restore order and regain control of the Island of Relevancy.
