Roman Reigns to retire aged 39, Jacob Fatu to debut & more - 4 shocks for The Bloodline in 2024

The Bloodline has gone through some wholesale changes since WrestleMania XL, and there is a belief that this could be leading towards Roman Reigns' return at SummerSlam 2024.

There has been no evidence to back up this theory, and Reigns has recently been removed from all advertisements surrounding The Biggest Party of the Summer. Hence, it's difficult to know if and when The Tribal Chief will be making his WWE comeback.

Several developments could hinder The Bloodline in 2024. In this list, we will look at just four of them.

#4 Jimmy Uso returns

Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline following WrestleMania after he lost to his own brother, Jey Uso, at The Show of Shows. He has since been sidelined with an injury, but he could make his return in the coming months and plot to exact revenge on The Bloodline for how he was dumped out of the family.

Jimmy and Jey could reunite after settling their differences, allowing the former to have some backup when he tackles the newest version of The Bloodline.

#3 Paul Heyman leaves

Paul Heyman hasn't felt at home in The Bloodline since Roman Reigns left following his loss at WrestleMania. The Wiseman is constantly fearing for his safety and is often left out of the loop when it comes to the faction's plans.

It's unclear whether Solo Sikoa feels that he can't trust Heyman or whether he conducts business differently. Either way, it wouldn't be a surprise if The Wiseman left the group before the end of the year to work with someone who valued his expertise.

#2 Jacob Fatu makes his debut

Jacob Fatu has reportedly been signed to WWE since WrestleMania but has yet to make an appearance on TV. It was believed that Fatu would be part of Solo Sikoa's new Bloodline, but that may not be the case now. Instead, The Samoan Werewolf could be someone who feuds with Sikoa's version of the faction.

If Jimmy Uso or Roman Reigns returned to WWE, Fatu could be their backup. Given his history with Jimmy, he would be a fantastic partner for the former Tag Team Champion if he showed up on SmackDown alone.

#1 Roman Reigns retires

Roman Reigns hasn't been seen in more than two months, and it seems that there are no plans for his WWE return at present. In a recent documentary, The Tribal Chief claimed that if he lost his title, he would be gone. It seems like he has followed through on his promise.

At just 39 years old, Reigns has accomplished more than most top stars in WWE history. Hence, he could now retire at the top of his game in 2024. It's hard to imagine WWE surpassing his almost four-year unbeaten run. They could just be delaying the retirement announcement until the new Bloodline has made a real impact.
