Roman Reigns to return after 13 weeks with a huge change? - 3 superstars who may turn heel at WWE Money in the Bank and 3 who could turn face

WWE has booked an action-packed show for Money in the Bank 2024. Several high-stakes matches may see a few big names undergo a massive shift in their characters as they look to seize career-defining opportunities.

However, there could also be others who return with a big turnaround in their character, even if it's for one storyline. Triple H may have planned a few such turns to set up new storylines with SummerSlam on the horizon.

Here, we look at WWE Superstars who could turn face and those who may turn heel at Money in the Bank. So, without further ado, let's begin.

#1 May turn face: Jimmy Uso returns at Money in the Bank to join Cody Rhodes

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is not slated for a title defense at Money in the Bank. Instead, the American Nightmare will join forces with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to take on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. It is worth noting that Jacob Fatu, who made his debut on SmackDown last week, will be with the heel faction during the 6-man tag team match.

We may see Jimmy Uso make a surprise return at Money in the Bank and help even the odds if Jacob Fatu decides to interfere. Cody Rhodes brought Jey Uso to RAW when he quit SmackDown, and Jimmy could get a similar favor from The American Nightmare. He may also choose to make things right with the reigning champion while settling the score with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline who brutally attacked him when he lost against Jey at WrestleMania. It would be a good setup for his eventual reunion with Jey Uso.

#2 May turn face: Roman Reigns returns to WWE as top babyface

Solo Sikoa has turned The Bloodline towards a path of sheer cruelty on WWE SmackDown since taking over as the Tribal Chief. He replaced everyone in the faction and openly asked Paul Heyman to give up hopes for Roman Reigns' return. Sikoa also looks dangerously close to attacking the Wiseman because of the latter's reluctance to acknowledge him as the Head of the Table.

Sikoa made a bold decision going after Cody Rhodes and has defied Roman Reigns' orders on SmackDown. We may see him face the consequences of his recent actions if Roman Reigns returns in the final moments of Money in the Bank. This would mark his first appearance on television since losing the title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

The recent developments within The Bloodline have hinted at a massive civil war. Roman Reigns could return and reunite the old Bloodline to put the Solo Sikoa-run faction in check. Although he was arguably the biggest heel in the business before leaving, Roman Reigns is bound to receive massive babyface pop when he returns and it could all transpire at Money in the Bank.

#3 May turn face: Damian Priest turns face after betrayal from The Judgment Day

Damian Priest will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. However, losing his title would mean that the Archer of Infamy would also have to leave The Judgment Day. Priest recently said that the heel faction on RAW needs him more than he needs them, which has added to the tension amidst the group.

Even if retains the World Heavyweight Championship, we may still see The Judgment Day turn on him. This would set up his face turn on the show that WWE has been teasing for a long time. It would be an excellent swerve to set up a title feud between Finn Balor and Damian Priest, especially with The Prince's alleged alliance with Liv Morgan recently coming to light.

#4 May turn heel: The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile join Chad Gable

Chad Gable's timing went from bad to worse when Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa walked out on the Alpha Academy member just when The Wyatt Sicks arrived at WWE RAW. Uncle Howdy and his faction destroyed several backstage but Gable was the most prominent victim of their rampage. He begged for his former students to return but was met with a rejection only to turn around and find The Creed Brothers with Ivy Nile.

With The Wyatt Sicks targetting Gable, he desperately needs someone in his corner. He is set to compete in Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, where he Uncle Howdy or Sister Abigail attack him. Gable could then see The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile rush to his defense. They could undergo a change in their characters before they become the new members of The Alpha Academy on WWE RAW, the kind that Gable has wanted since he turned heel.
