Roman Reigns to return with new character and alliance to avenge Paul Heyman? Exploring potential revenge
The attack on Paul Heyman this week on WWE SmackDown has sent shockwaves through the wrestling world. Fans believe that it could now lead to the return of Roman Reigns.
Of course, Reigns isn't the only ally that Paul Heyman has in WWE. It was seen just last week that CM Punk and Heyman have remained close friends and they could decide to form an alliance to exact revenge on The Bloodline.
At present, Reigns is at a major disadvantage since even if he is able to reunite with The Usos, he will still be a man short as Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu now make up the new Bloodline.
CM Punk could align with Reigns
Could CM Punk be that final man? When he has been cleared and able to put the issue with Drew McIntyre behind him, around SummerSlam when Reigns is rumored to return, he would be free to help the cause of his friend.
Punk and Paul Heyman have been close friends for most of their lives and last week's episode of SmackDown could have been a tease that he is set to be part of The Bloodline angle moving forward.
Roman Reigns was one of the biggest heels in WWE
Roman Reigns was a major WWE heel throughout his time as The Tribal Chief and left WrestleMania 40 as a heel after he was pinned by Cody Rhodes and dropped his world championship to Cody Rhodes. The Bloodline has since been completely changed and would now be unrecognizable to Roman Reigns if he were to return today.
Solo Sikoa could now be considered a bigger heel than Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has managed to be somehow seen as a face by the WWE Universe without even being on TV because there is now a belief that he isn't the one pushing Solo Sikoa to commit these acts. Reigns and Paul Heyman were close friends and he would not have ordered him to be taken out of the stable in this way.
Sikoa is now so hated by the WWE Universe that Reigns could return as a face if he were to go against the new Bloodline and make it clear that he isn't the man who has been controlling Sikoa.
Jimmy Uso could align with Roman Reigns upon return
Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline following his WrestleMania loss to his brother, Jey, and hasn't been seen since. Uso is reportedly struggling with an injury, but it seems that he could also be a face when he makes his return to WWE. He will surely want some revenge against the man who removed him from The Bloodline, his own brother Solo.
Jimmy Uso and Reigns together as faces would be the perfect duo to avenge Paul Heyman, who has pushed both men's careers forward over the past few years.
