Major backstage update on Roman Reigns's return

Legit injury or a work?

Roman Reigns has been off WWE TV ever since Triple H mercilessly handed the Samoan Superman a sound beating on RAW a few weeks back. According to WWE, Reigns had to undergo a surgery to the nose, with reports pointing out to the injury being a legit one and not part of the storyline.

If you’ve been wondering about the #1 contender’s return, you wouldn’t have to wait long, as Roman Reigns is scheduled to return on next week’s RAW from Chicago and would be present on all the subsequent shows leading up to WrestleMania 32.

As of now, Roman Reigns is not advertised for the March 14th edition of RAW in Pittsburg that would see Shane Mcmahon, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar making appearances. Apart from that, Reigns would be on the March 22nd episode of Smackdown, which also has Brock Lesnar as one of the advertised big names.

Wrestling Observer’s earlier reports of Reigns not making it for next week’s RAW in Chicago were put to rest by WWE’s official announcement on its website and Reigns would indeed be in Chicago, a venue well-known for a boisterous crowd.

Roman Reigns, without a doubt, would be received by a chorus of boos, which has been one of the rumored reasons why Reigns was said to be written off TV. In any case, WWE is firmly behind Reigns and even a vocal Chicago crowd may not be able to change that.
