Roman Reigns Rumors: WWE planning big match for Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 35
What's the story?
The WWE Universe has been abuzz ever since The Big Dog made his return to RAW this past week after a sabbatical of nearly 5 long months. Reigns had taken the time off to battle Leukemia, and it was with great pleasure that he announced that he is fit to compete and his cancer is now in remission.
This comes as great news for all his fans and well-wishers. But, with the former WWE Champion back, it begs the question: What will he be doing at Wrestlemania 35?
In case you didn't know...
Roman Reigns has undoubtedly been the face of WWE for the past few years. The Grand Slam Champion has main-evented the last 4 Wrestlemanias competing against legends The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
From the look of things, the main events for this year will likely either be the RAW Women's Championship match featuring Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and possibly Becky Lynch, or the Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins.
Roman Reigns is one of the most popular WWE Superstars and it will be imperative for WWE to find him a worthy opponent at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
The heart of the matter
In regards to Reigns' opponent at Wrestlemania 35, WrestleVotes( via Cagesideseats.com) has reported that WWE is currently trying to figure that out “with multiple options on the table”
They further state that WWE are also figuring out plans for John Cena as of now.
What's next?
Wrestlemania 35 will take place on April 7,, 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
With WWE wanting something huge for both Roman Reigns and John Cena, it is very much possible that we might get to see these two titans clash at the biggest stage.
