Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins to reunite, huge request for Hall of Famer? - 4 things The OTC can do on WWE SmackDown

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is set to air later tonight on the USA Network. This show is the second to final episode of the blue brand ahead of Survivor Series WarGames, the main roster's final premium live event of 2024.

While the blue brand has numerous stories heading into the big PLE, the biggest and most intriguing is the ongoing Bloodline saga. The stable has been around for over four years now and somehow things just keep getting better.

Currently, the big hook is The New Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa battling Roman Reigns' O.G. Bloodline. The two teams will clash inside a WarGames cage at Survivor Series, but first, The OTC will be appearing on Friday Night SmackDown tonight.

This article will take a look at four things Roman Reigns might do when he appears on SmackDown tonight. This includes an impromptu match, granting an apology to two stars he wrongfully abused, and beyond.

Below are four things Roman Reigns can do on WWE SmackDown.

#4. Roman Reigns could finally apologize to Jey Uso and Sami Zayn

The OG Bloodline is back together. Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso were the first to reunite, which didn't take much work as the two had been together before taking a break from WWE television.

The additions of Sami Zayn and Jey Uso were a bit more challenging, however. The two former WWE champions were mostly brought back into the fold due to the actions of Solo Sikoa's Bloodline as opposed to forgiving Roman Reigns for his past actions. In fact, Sami even tried to get The OTC to apologize to Jey for his past behavior, but Roman refused.

Come Friday Night SmackDown, that could finally change. Not only might Roman step up and apologize to Jey for years of mental, verbal, and emotional abuse, but he could also apologize to Sami for the same thing. While an apology doesn't fix anything, it would be a big first step in making things right.

#3. He could ask Seth Rollins for help

The Bloodline Civil War 2.0 at WWE Survivor Series WarGames will be quite the bout. Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline, featuring Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed, will take on The O.G. Bloodline. The only problem, however, is that The O.G. Bloodline only has four members.

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn have attempted to recruit others to help them, but due to Roman Reigns' past behavior, everybody has turned them down. This includes Seth Rollins, Roman's former close friend and now long-time enemy. In fact, Seth made it clear he will never work with Reigns again.

Come Friday Night SmackDown, Roman could step up and be the one to ask Seth to team up with him. While Rollins might still turn The OTC down, if anyone should come to him, it should be The Visionary's former Shield stablemate. Could a personal request make a difference?

#2. Roman Reigns could make a public plea for Paul Heyman to return to WWE SmackDown next week

WWE Friday Night SmackDown last week ended in a fascinating matter. After a great Women's Championship match between Nia Jax and Naomi, a Marvel-style post-credits scene aired where Roman Reigns tried to call Paul Heyman.

Unfortunately for Roman, The Wiseman's phone was shockingly disconnected. This left Reigns in an obvious state of shock. It also raises many questions. Has The OTC not been in touch with Paul Heyman since he was brutally beaten down by Solo Sikoa and his band of mercenaries earlier this year?

Regardless, come SmackDown, Roman Reigns may cut a promo to the camera and address Heyman. He could ask the WWE Hall of Famer to appear at SmackDown next week, pleading with him to try to figure out whatever issue that could've caused the pair to lose touch.

#1. He could challenge Bronson Reed to an impromptu match

WWE Friday Night SmackDown last week was a tough show for The O.G. Bloodline. Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso attempted to fight The New Bloodline's Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, but things went awry.

Monday Night RAW's Big Bronson Reed showed up and he absolutely pulverized The O.G. Bloodline. Most notably, he took out Roman Reigns. In fact, he even gave the former Undisputed WWE Champion the vicious Tsunami.

Come SmackDown, Roman could surprise fans by issuing an impromptu challenge to the Auszilla. Reigns hasn't competed on television in almost two years, but if it means potentially taking Reed out ahead of WarGames, it may be a worthwhile move to make. Of course, fighting Bronson is also a gamble. Is Roman one to bet on himself?
