Roman Reigns' 'Shield' to return, AEW star to return after 5 years? 4 superstars who can help The OTC and Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are currently involved in a feud with the latest iteration of Bloodline on WWE SmackDown. The duo are set to lock horns with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood 2024.

However, the Solo-led Bloodline currently holds the numbers advantage over The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare. Given that, the babyface duo may need some reinforcement.

The following piece will explore four names who could help Reigns and Rhodes against The Bloodline:

#4. Kevin Owens

Much like Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens is another name who has been involved in an angle with The Bloodline. Given that, he could potentially help the babyfaces in their war against the Solo-led faction.

The Prizefighter was attacked by Jacob Fatu and the Tongan brothers on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, which led to Rhodes showing up to make the save. KO could return the favor by helping The OTC and Rhodes prevail over The Bloodline at Bad Blood 2024.

#3. Seth Rollins could be Roman Reigns' 'Shield'

Seth Rollins has been off WWE TV ever since he was brutalized by Bronson Reed on WWE RAW. However, he could soon return to help Cody Rhodes and his former partner, Roman Reigns.

While a Shield reunion seems unlikely, given Jon Moxley, aka Dean Ambrose, is currently signed to AEW, fans could witness a partial Shield reunion, as Rollins could return to team up with Roman. The Visionary could act as Roman's 'Shield,' protecting him against The Bloodline, much like he was for Cody Rhodes earlier this year.

Rollins could align with The OTC and The American Nightmare to crush Solo's version of The Bloodline.

#2. Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso has been sidelined due to an injury following a brutal beatdown at the hands of Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga a few months ago. However, he has been rumored to return shortly.

Jimmy's return would surely spice things up in The Bloodline saga. Given he has a score to settle with the heel stable, he could return to join forces with The American Nightmare and The Original Tribal Chief to take down the common enemy.

#1. Dustin Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes left WWE in 2019. While he is currently performing in AEW, his contract with Tony Khan's promotion is reportedly set to expire this month. Given that, there have been murmurs of the veteran making a return to the Stamford-based promotion after five long years.

If that does happen, Dustin could potentially return to help his brother Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns against The Bloodline. The wrestling veteran's reunion with The American Nightmare would indeed be one of the biggest moments of the year.
