Roman Reigns to be victim of shocking swerve? - 4 Things Seth Rollins can do if he shows up on WWE SmackDown this week

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is just a few days away, and this show should be a big one. World Wrestling Entertainment's next big Premium Live Event will be taking place later this month, and all eyes are on the buildup to the big show.

Not much is being promoted for the blue brand's next episode. The regular stars of the show will appear, including Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes, who will have a face-to-face confrontation, plus Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa, among others.

One interesting name who could potentially appear on the blue brand is Monday Night RAW's Seth Rollins. Since it is Survivor Series: WarGames season, the brand split is barely being followed, making an appearance feasible.

This article will look at a handful of things Seth could do if The Visionary does indeed appear on SmackDown this week. These options include aligning with someone he swore off, injuring a big name, and beyond.

#4. He could confront Roman Reigns and again turn down his WarGames team

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is at the end of the month and a major main event has been announced for the show. Solo Sikoa's New Bloodline will take on Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline in a five-on-five WarGames Match.

Solo Sikoa's group has five members, but Roman's stable does not. Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn have attempted to recruit Seth Rollins to their cause, but the former WWE Champion turned them down in no uncertain words. He hates Roman and will never team up with him again.

If Seth appears on SmackDown, he could confront Roman Reigns and, this time, tell him off directly to his face. The Visionary could clarify that he will never work with him and then insult Reigns, wishing for his downfall. This would be a tense and scathing promo, but it would be fascinating.

#3. Seth Rollins could injure Bronson Reed on WWE SmackDown

While The Visionary deals with Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso attempting to recruit him as part of Roman Reigns' WarGames team, he has other issues. Seth Rollins is dealing with Bronson Reed on WWE RAW.

When The OG Bloodline asked Seth to join their cause, and he turned them down, Rollins did try to help in one way: he offered to take Reed out. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, as Solo Sikoa's Bloodline caused chaos on WWE RAW, and Reed defeated The Visionary.

Come SmackDown, Rollins could try to keep his promise. Despite refusing to work with Roman, he could show up, attack, and injure Big Bronson Reed. This would even the odds for the battle between The Bloodline stables while also providing sweet revenge, given that Reed injured Seth earlier this year.

#2. The Visionary could be convinced to join forces with Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins has been adamant he and Roman Reigns will never work together again in WWE. It makes sense, as they have a rough past. It seems they've been fighting non-stop for half a decade now.

They weren't always enemies, however. At one point, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose represented The Shield. The stable was the top act in WWE, and they were as thick as thieves.

Just as Jey Uso and Sami Zayn put aside their issues with Roman in favor of trying to remember better times, Seth could give in on SmackDown and do the same. He could agree to work with Reigns, especially if Roman apologizes for his past actions. If Seth sees a change in The OTC, a reunion is possible.

#1. He could shockingly join Solo Sikoa's Bloodline

Seth Rollins hates Roman Reigns. He has made it clear. Instead of helping Roman in some way, be it by taking out Bronson Reed or joining Reigns' WWE Survivor Series team, he could directly oppose The OTC.

In a move that would stun Roman and WWE fans alike, Seth could shockingly join The New Bloodline. He could put aside his issues with Big Bronson Reed and help Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa take Roman out.

This would be a big swerve after they cost him a win on RAW, but Rollins' issues with Roman go back so far that he may be willing to overlook any harsh words with Solo and company to ensure that Reigns is never a Tribal Chief again. His pride means little if Roman is back on top.
