Roman returns, member betrayal & more - 6 stars who could ruin The Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony on WWE SmackDown
Just a week removed from Jacob Fatu's epic debut, The Bloodline is set to hold an 'Acknowledgment Ceremony' on WWE SmackDown. Solo Sikoa and his crew of dangerous misfits sent the entire roster an emphatic message, and they intend to be recognized as the newest force to be reckoned with.
This assertion of dominance is straight out of the "original" Bloodline's playbook, with the Roman Reigns-led version having held a few similar segments. If history is anything to go by, there will be other superstars with something to say. Given the group's unpopularity, the smart money is on someone appearing on the blue brand to ruin the proceedings.
Here are six superstars who could ruin the Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony on WWE SmackDown
#6: Jimmy Uso returns from injury on WWE SmackDown
Jimmy Uso has been off WWE television for over two months due to a vicious attack by Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa. The elder Uso was the first casualty of Sikoa's rule over The Bloodline, getting thrown out of the faction due to the "failures" from WrestleMania XL.
Jimmy will have a bone to pick with the new Bloodline whenever he returns, and what better time than the Acknowledgment Ceremony? Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens find themselves outnumbered in their struggle against Sikoa and Co., and Uso could be the equalizer. His return would also increase the anticipation for Roman Reigns' impending re-emergence.
#5, #4 & #3: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens crash the ceremony
The latest iteration of The Bloodline has made quite the impression on WWE SmackDown since WrestleMania XL. On top of brutally kicking out Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga defeated Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at Backlash. Now, Cody Rhodes has been pulled into the feud, setting up a six-man tag team match at Money In The Bank.
They will seek revenge after Jacob Fatu's debut left all three top babyfaces laid out last week. It's reasonable to assume that Rhodes, Orton, and Owens could crash the ceremony, resulting in a brawl or promo battle. This would increase the anticipation for the multi-man bout in Toronto.
#2: Newest Bloodline star Jacob Fatu betrays Solo Sikoa on WWE SmackDown
Jacob Fatu was the latest Bloodline member to debut in WWE, instantly aligning himself with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. This ended weeks of speculation regarding The Samoan Werewolf's direction, leaving fans wondering which "side" of the inevitable Bloodline civil war he would land.
Fatu seems to have chosen a side to much fanfare, but there might be one more twist to his story. What if the 32-year-old reveals himself to be working under Roman Reigns' orders to infiltrate and undermine Sikoa's group?
What if he wants the faction's leadership for himself? This would be an epic swerve, one we have come to expect from the storyline.
#1: Roman Reigns returns to reclaim his position as Tribal Chief
Since Solo Sikoa took over leadership of The Bloodline post-WrestleMania XL, he has been positioning himself to replace Roman Reigns. He kicked out Reigns' longtime lieutenant Jimmy Uso, recruited his members into the group, and turned Paul Heyman into a shell of his former self.
Tensions between Sikoa and The Wise Man have simmered for weeks and seemed to reach a new level last week. Not only did The Advocate publicly beg CM Punk to "take me with you," but The Street Champion also informed him that The Tribal Chief was not coming back. The 31-year-old also seemed to threaten Heyman in a backstage segment, teasing an imminent attack on the latter.
Could the six-time world champion return to save his Special Counsel? Given that he just suffered a huge personal loss, it's not likely, but it's not impossible!
