- According to E! Online, Jake “The Snake” Roberts would be starring in a new film called Heavy Water. Producers are trying to raise $25,000, and it has reached close to $8,000 in donations as of this writing. Roberts would play Jed in the film, who is a paternal figure to the lead character.

The movie’s Kickstarter page states that “Jake’s experience as a professional wrestler translated into strong performances and brought a powerful presence to his character. His ability to improvise, take direction, and become the character shines through in his depiction of Jed.”

- Speaking of Roberts, there’s news about Roberts and the progress he’s made since starting the DDPYOGA program last year. According to TMZ, Roberts had lost 70 pounds since moving in with Diamond Dallas Page nine months ago, and that he hopes to make an appearance at The Royal Rumble.

“I will never give up … I want a life again and I am pursuing that,” Roberts said. “The Rumble will define it.”
