12-time champion re-signs with WWE - Reports
A multi-time WWE Champion has reportedly inked a new deal with the Stamford-based company. The veteran performer made his return from injury after nearly eight months earlier this year in April.
The name in question is three-time WWE Champion Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior is among the most decorated superstars on the roster, having won every major title barring the Intercontinental Championship. Apart from his singles titles, he has five tag team championship reigns to his name, all of them while teaming up with Cesaro (AKA Claudio Castagnoli).
Over the years, the 46-year-old has been an integral part of the wrestling promotion. According to a recent X (FKA Twitter) update from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Sheamus has re-signed with the global juggernaut.
"Sheamus has re-signed with WWE, sources in the company have confirmed," wrote Sean Ross Sapp.

The three-time United States Champion is currently involved in a heated rivalry with his former stablemate, Pete Dunne. The two locked horns in a singles match on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. The contest ended with Dunne emerging victorious after hitting his opponent with a cricket bat.
WWE Hall of Famer shares honest take on Sheamus' return from injury
Sheamus made his much-awaited return from injury in a singles match against Ivar on the April 15, edition of Monday Night RAW. WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff shared his honest opinion about The Celtic Warrior's return to television.
On an episode of 83 Weeks, Bischoff claimed that Sheamus' return feels fresh, thanks to his long hiatus from WWE. The veteran, however, pointed out the absence of a storyline leading up to the Irishman's return. The former RAW General Manager added that the former leader of The Brawling Brutes must be looking forward to making an impact in the next 12 months.
"He has been off long enough that he is like the 'absence makes the heart grow fonder factor' has kicked in; it feels fresh. Yeah, would it have been nice if Sheamus had a story starting six months or a year ago, or perhaps it would have built towards WrestleMania? Sure, that would have been nice. But if I'm Sheamus right now, I'm looking at what happens to me over the next 12 months. What am I going to be doing looking forward to the next WrestleMania because he has got a clear runway, and he's got some support behind him," he said. [From 36:06 to 36:35]
Sheamus recently teased going after the Intercontinental Championship. However, after losing to Pete Dunne on RAW, Sheamus would first look to get back at his former stablemate.
