A popular pro-wrestling star's injury is being called one of the worst in some time. The star, 28-year-old Chris Bey, suffered a legitimate injury during a TNA iMPACT! taping in October.

Chris Bey is one of the most beloved personalities in all of pro-wrestling. He currently works for TNA Wrestling, and it's been about six years since he joined the promotion.

During the October 27, 2024 TNA iMPACT! tapings, he competed alongside Ace Austin in a tag team match against The Hardy Boyz. He suffered a legitimate injury during the bout, and fans were worried when they saw him being stretchered backstage.

The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter shared a key detail about the pro-wrestling star's injury.

"Nobody publicly is giving details on his situation and within wrestling people know it's a very serious situation and one of the worst in-ring injuries in some time." [via WOR]

Chris Bey shared an update on his situation about two days after his injury.

TNA Wrestling's official Twitter handle shared the statement. Check it out below:

"I just want to take a few moments to extend my heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation for so much and to so many over the past few days. From everyone at TNA Wrestling, to the incredible medical staff here in Detroit, to family, friends and fans worldwide. I know you have been praying for my full recovery from the in-ring accident this past Sunday. Monday was Day One for me on this journey, which I know will be long and challenging. Thanks again for the love and support, and please keep the prayers coming!"

Chris Bey received well wishes from several stars on social media after he suffered the injury. In the coming weeks, more updates will be forthcoming on his well-being.
