37-year-old star set to become one of the biggest names in WWE - Reports
The latest reports suggest that WWE plans to push a 37-year-old star to the sky as one of the biggest names in the next few years.
The star in question is Chad Gable, who is yet to win a singles title in the company. The Alpha Academy member has been a former NXT Tag Team Champion, a two-time RAW Tag Team Champion, and a former SmackDown Tag Team Champion.
As of now, Gable is a part of the Alpha Academy faction alongside Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and newest member Akira Tozawa. The star had an impeccable rivalry against Imperium leader Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on RAW a few weeks ago.
It was noted that several people backstage were impressed by the Alpha Academy member after putting intense in-ring work next to The Ring General.
This has led to the latest development wherein BWE has reported that World Wrestling Entertainment has complete confidence in Chad Gable's ability to become one of the top superstars in the future years.
"WWE have 'full trust' in Chad Gable in becoming one of the biggest names in the next few years," BWE reported.
Alpha Academy faced The New Day for the first time ever on WWE RAW
On this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, Chad Gable and Otis went into action against New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
The two teams on the October 16 edition of RAW met each other in a backstage segment where Akira Tozawa was seen working out. After laying out a challenge, New Day vs. Alpha Academy was made official on this week's red brand show.
The WWE Universe was firmly behind the 37-year-old star and Otis as they brought out the fight to Woods and Kingston. However, followed by brave efforts, the Alpha Academy couldn't capitalize on the New Day as the latter team took home the win.
It will be exciting to see Chad Gable on a single run and potentially get a massive push for a major title.
