50-year-old veteran responsible for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' epic segment on WWE SmackDown - Reports
This week on SmackDown, WWE produced a high-budget cinematic segment between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The arch-rivals are set to team up against The Bloodline at Bad Blood 2024 next month.
The two superstars met at Georgia Tech's football field to settle their differences and agree to have each other’s back for their tag team match next month against the team of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The whole segment gained high praise from fans and experts.
A recent report by PWInsider has revealed the minds behind the Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' face-to-face segment. Reports suggested Jeremy Borash produced the segment in collaboration with Rob Fee on the field. The segment was reportedly shot earlier this week from the stadium.
The 50-year-old Jeremy Borash holds a position as Senior Director of Content and Development of the NXT brand in WWE, and reports say Borash has become Triple H main guy to produce the outdoor segments like this, and Rob Fee holds the position of Director of Character Development in the company.
Ex-WWE employee assessment on Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes segment
Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell expressed his views on the cinematic segment on the blue brand. The veteran said he felt both stars were neither clear-cut baby-face nor heel.
The former WWE employee further expressed how he felt the complex angle shown between these two was a great thrilling segment, and the Stamford-based company is booking correctly by holding to turn either of them heel.
"What we saw here was almost two tweeners together. I don't think you can move either one of them heel. If they wanted to, as a last resort they could. But I don't think they're even thinking about that." [From 29:35 to 29:49]
WWE Bad Blood 2024 is undoubtedly going to be a must-see event. Fans are thrilled to see how the former bitter rivals, Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will perform as a team to take on The Bloodline.
