6-time WWE champion absent for nearly 200 days reportedly returning soon

Several WWE Superstars are waiting on the sidelines to return to in-ring action after extended breaks for various reasons. A recent report states that a six-time WWE champion is set to return soon.

Raquel Rodriguez seemed to have a bright career on the main roster after a successful run on NXT. The Stamford-based company waited for some time before pushing her to the top of the roster.

However, the long wait watered down her dominance and did not do justice to her run on NXT. Earlier this year, the 33-year-old star had to take a break from wrestling due to mast cell activation syndrome.

Raquel last competed on Monday Night RAW after Elimination Chamber: Perth against Chelsea Green on February 26, 2024. A recent report by PWInsider Elite states that the six-time WWE champion could return to the ring soon.

The report indicates that several pitches are being made for Raquel Rodriguez’s return to WWE TV. The details of her return and the brand she will likely return on is unclear at the moment.

Raquel Rodriguez has teamed up with many superstars on the main roster, including Aliyah and Liv Morgan. The creative team could bring her back into a tag team before giving her some singles feuds again.

Raquel Rodriguez could help push WWE RAW on Netflix

WWE will be looking at some key players who could help the company get a good start on Netflix. RAW already has some top superstars, including CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Gunther, and Rhea Ripley.

However, the company could get a few more powerhouses on the red brand's women's roster if it plans to give fans a bang for their buck. Apart from Ripley, there is no other top female powerhouse on the RAW roster.

Raquel Rodriguez's return could change all that, as she could come back on the red brand and wreak havoc right away. She has all the tools to get a lot of attention from fans and make it big after undergoing a potential character change.
