Another country is trying to lure WWE into hosting Elimination Chamber 2025 after interest from the UK - Reports (Exclusive)
WWE Elimination Chamber has been getting some major interest from multiple countries. It speaks volumes of how hot WWE is right now and a new report has emerged about another country trying to lure the sports entertainment juggernaut into hosting the final Premium Live Event before WrestleMania 41.
It was reported last week exclusively on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Backstage Pass that the United Kingdom was set to be confirmed as the host country of the 2025 Elimination Chamber - with Birmingham and Manchester being the two favorites.
On WrestleVotes Radio exclusively on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC reported that while the UK is still a frontrunner, Canada has swooped in to try and lure WWE into having the Elimination Chamber there. It was suggested that if it comes to Canada, it will be in Toronto. London has also reportedly emerged as a possible host city for the final PLE before WrestleMania 41.
John Cena's retirement tour will have kicked off and he will be at Elimination Chamber 2025
What's going to be a treat to WWE fans, and perhaps one of the big reasons why Canada is attempting to get the 2025 Chamber show is the fact that John Cena will be on the show.
As he announced his retirement tour a few months ago, he confirmed that he will be a part of the 2025 Elimination Chamber. He is expected to be a part of most of WWE programming next year and his retirement tour will likely drive up the sales of the show regardless of who is on the card and where it's hosted - whether it's Toronto, London, Birmingham, or Manchester.
For many, it will be their final chance to ever see John Cena in a WWE ring and that's a huge draw. The economic benefits of arena shows of this size are the biggest reason why cities want to host them.
