Backstage update on potential Vince McMahon rule being broken - Reports

There has been an update on a Vince McMahon rule potentially being broken on WWE RAW. The former WWE CEO resigned from the company earlier this year.

Mr. McMahon was not a fan of using the word "hospital" on WWE television, and instead wanted it to be referred to as a "local medical facility." RAW commentator Joe Tessitore used the term this past Monday night, and Fightful Select has provided an update in a new report today.

Fightful noted that despite the term being used on RAW, it is not a "hard-and-fast rule" like it was while Vince McMahon was in charge.

McMahon resigned from the company earlier this year after accusations from former WWE employee Janel Grant were made public. Triple H has gained power following the 79-year-old's departure and currently serves as the company's Chief Content Officer.

Randy Orton claims it is nice to have Vince McMahon out of WWE

Randy Orton recently discussed Vince McMahon's departure from the company and stated that it was time for a change.

The Viper challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin earlier this month. The Ring General picked up the victory in a hard-fought match, and the two stars shook hands after the bell.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview earlier this year, Orton noted that McMahon gave him a ton of opportunities in his career, but it was nice that he was no longer in charge.

"All the opportunities he [Vince McMahon] gave me, it's nice having him out of there and it's nice having his son-in-law, Triple H, running the game. Nick Khan's great. Everybody in TKO that's come in, stepped in, they seem to get it, and it's just a different era," Orton said. [From 04:19 – 04:35]

Triple H's vision for the product has worked out well so far, and the company is coming off of a very successful Bash in Berlin event last weekend. It will be interesting to see what Hunter has in store for fans on the road to Bad Blood next month in Atlanta, Georgia.
