Backstage updates from The Judgment Day's implosion on WWE RAW - Reports

The WWE Universe is still buzzing over the status of The Judgment Day after its implosion was ramped up on Saturday at SummerSlam, then again on Monday's RAW. New details are being revealed from within WWE on the split.

The Judgment Day was founded in April 2022 by Edge, aka Adam Copeland, along with Damian Priest, and joined by Rhea Ripley one month later. Finn Balor took over as leader in the summer of 2022, which led to Dominik Mysterio joining the group in September 2022. JD McDonagh officially joined in November 2023, and Carlito has been hanging around since May of this year.

The big Judgment Day implosion began at SummerSlam when Dirty Dom turned on The Eradicator. The Prince later turned on The Archer of Infamy to help Gunther win the World Championship. A new report from @WRKDWrestling reveals that all members of the faction were praised by WWE officials for their recent work.

Management especially praised the stablemates for the success of the payoffs to their SummerSlam angles. Despite the praise, it was noted that Judgment Day members were seen as sentimental and emotional while preparing backstage for their splintering this past week.

The new Judgment Day features Balor leading McDonagh, Carlito, Dominik, and Liv Morgan. Ripley and Priest united as The Terror Twins on Monday's loaded RAW.

WWE PLE rumored matches for The Judgment Day

The Judgment Day has officially split off into two factions. The WWE Universe is calling on officials to book a big mixed tag team match with Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan vs. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.

Priest and Ripley vs. Mysterio and Morgan are expected for the inaugural Bash In Berlin PLE on Saturday, August 31. The speculation is that this could lead to a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood on Saturday, October 5.

The last standard tag team bout with Priest and Ripley came on December 30, 2022. Karl Anderson and Mia Yim defeated them at a non-televised live event. Their last standard 2-on-2 televised tag bout came on May 23, 2022, as they beat Morgan and AJ Styles on RAW.
