Big name pulls out from WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2024 - Reports
Fans have been eagerly waiting to see several legends show up at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2024 this Saturday night. However, Ted DiBiase, who was also slated to appear, has now pulled out from the highly anticipated show.
WWE is bringing back Saturday Night's Main Event after 16 years, with its last edition going down way back in 2008. Considering just how massive an occasion it is, the promotion not only announced a blockbuster line-up of matches but also assembled several legends who would appear at the December 14th event.
One of the big names expected to appear was Ted DiBiase. However, a new report from SeScoops has shared an unfortunate update on the WWE Hall of Famer. It was noted that though the former Million Dollar Champion was slated to appear, he withdrew from the event due to undisclosed reasons at the last minute.
That said, many other big names like Jesse Ventura, who would also be present in the commentary box, Jimmy Hart, Tito Santana, and more would grace the show.
What else does WWE have in store for Saturday Night's Main Event 2024?
WWE will be presenting a loaded card for Saturday Night's Main Event, which is likely to be headlined by Cody Rhodes' Undisputed Title defense against Kevin Owens. Apart from that, Gunther will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a three-way encounter.
On the women's side, Liv Morgan will defend the Women's World Title against IYO SKY. Plus, Michin, Tiffany Stratton, and the winner of Chelsea Green and Bayley's match from this week's Smackdown will battle it out to determine the first-ever Women's US Champion. In the sole non-title match of the night, the recently returned Drew McIntyre will go to war against Sami Zayn.
Check out the card below:
- Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens
- Women's World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY
- Women's United States Championship Tournament Final: Bayley or Chelsea Green vs. Michin or Tiffany Stratton
- Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest
- Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre
Going by how impressive the card is, there's no doubt the company will leave no stone unturned to deliver a memorable night of action for fans.
