Cody Rhodes set to have three unexpected title challengers soon but not The Bloodline despite feud - Reports

Cody Rhodes is in a feud with the Bloodline right now, but that won't matter, as he'll have to defend his title against three different stars. The matches are set to take place soon.

Currently, Rhodes is facing The Bloodline in a series of matches and feuds, but unfortunately for him, it's not Solo Sikoa who's coming after his title next. The star may be in a feud with the faction now, and both his friends, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, may have been taken out by them, but the next three times he defends his title, it's against three different stars - AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, and LA Knight.

WWE is heading to Japan soon for its tour, so there will be multiple huge title matches. Rey Mysterio will also get a world title match for the first time in a year.

According to a report by PW Insider, Rhodes will have three different opponents challenging for his title over the three shows. The matches as of now are:

  1. Cody Rhodes (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles for the WWE Championship in Osaka
  2. AJ Styles vs Cody Rhodes (c) for the WWE Championship in Tokyo
  3. Cody Rhodes (c) vs LA Knight vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles in Tokyo for the second night

After going through these stars, should Rhodes retain his title, he will have to face Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam. It's going to be a very tough few weeks for the star.

He will have to go through it without either of his allies—Randy Orton and Kevin Owens—as the Bloodline took them both out.
