Current WWE star spotted backstage at TNA Emergence - Reports
WWE and TNA opened their own forbidden door earlier this year, and the crossover is widely regarded as a big success by many fans. Now it looks like another main roster WWE Superstar is set to benefit from the historic working relationship.
TNA and NXT have so far worked together for the most part under the ongoing working relationship, but there's been talk of RAW and SmackDown too getting involved with TNA. Several notable stars have appeared on WWE and TNA programming under the forbidden door, such as Joe Hendry, Jordynne Grace, Frankie Kazarian, Tatum Paxley, The Rascalz, aka MSK, and The No Quarter Catch Crew, among others.
Blair Davenport is reportedly currently backstage for TNA Emergence. A new report from Fightful Select noted that the SmackDown Superstar is present for the show at Old Forester's Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, but she came to the show with NXT's Riley Osborne of Chase University.
The Top Gaijin attending tonight's TNA show is why she was not brought to Europe for this week's Road to Bash in Berlin tour, tonight's SmackDown, and for Saturday's Bash in Berlin PLE. The UK star is engaged to Osborne, who is scheduled for tonight's Ultimate X match against Jason Hotch, Hammerstone, Laredo Kid, Zachary Wentz, and X-Division Champion Mike Bailey.
Davenport recently aligned with Women's Tag Team Champions The Unholy Union on SmackDown. She lost to Naomi on the July 12 episode, but got the win back one month later. Last Friday's episode saw Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill defeat Davenport, Isla Dawn, and Alba Fyre.
