Did WWE steal the idea for Roman Reigns' Bloodline?
The Bloodline has been dominating WWE for more than two years since Roman Reigns and The Usos united back in 2020. However, it appears that fans had an idea to put the group together years before.
A user on Reddit even shared an image of the three stars together and called them "The Bloodline" before WWE coined the idea themselves.
The fanart was shared back in 2017, at a time when The Usos and Roman Reigns had only worked together a handful of times. It didn't appear that there were any plans to turn The Usos heel at the time, given their popularity.
After a deeply personal feud with Jey Uso, the group came together in the summer of 2020 and has since dominated WWE, becoming the longest reigning Tag Team Champions whilst Reigns has held the World Championship for almost 1,000 days.
Did WWE steal the idea for Roman Reigns and The Usos to become The Bloodline?
The Usos and Roman Reigns teamed together numerous times during 2015, but the name The Bloodline wasn't coined until much later. It is most likely just a coincidence as The Bloodline is the most obvious name for the group as they are real-life family.
That being said, this post was made almost three years before the trio went on to dominate WWE. All the comments on the thread also seem to disagree with a push for Reigns, since he was a hated star before this character.
WWE fans have always provided the company with ideas and sometimes these can filter into the product, but if a fan did indeed come up with the idea, then it could be one of the best in the history of professional wrestling.
