Disappointing update on former champion's WWE status 107 days since last appearance
There has been an unfortunate update about an absent WWE Superstar today. The star in question has not competed in a match in over two years and hasn't appeared on WWE television in 107 days.
Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) currently serves as the manager for Omos. The Nigerian Giant has not competed in a match since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal won by Bronson Reed on the April 5 edition of SmackDown.
In a new report from PW Nexus (@hashtagPWN on X), MVP is no longer listed on the promotion's internal roster. It was also reported that Tamina and Bobby Lashley have also been removed from WWE's internal roster as well.
MVP, Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin were once part of a popular group known as The Hurt Business. However, the group was disbanded, and Shelton Benjamin was released from his contract last year.
WWE Hall of Famer reacts to MVP's claim that Triple H refused to reunite The Hurt Business
Wrestling legend and current NXT commentator Booker T has shared his thoughts on MVP sharing that Triple H didn't want to reunite The Hurt Business on WWE television.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, the veteran claimed backstage issues should be handled behind the scenes and not be shared on social media. The 59-year-old added that he was a fan of The Hurt Business and praised MVP as a performer.
"MVP's comments, he pretty much made his feelings known. And I'm sure people that need to know are aware about his feelings but I was always a huge fan of The Hurt Business. I've said that here many times how instrumental of a role that MVP played as far as, you know, really really almost being that legitimizer for the Hurt Business such as Sherri Martel was for us back in the day. Hopefully they can work that situation out. I just think stuff like that need to be handled behind closed doors." [36:17 - 37:07]

MVP has accomplished a lot during his time with the company and is a former United States Champion. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 50-year-old moving forward.
