Drew McIntyre suddenly resurfacing on WWE RAW has a purpose - Reports

Drew McIntyre appears to have begun a hunt on WWE RAW. The cliffhanger ending to this week's show saw the Scotsman make a shocking return. He hit a Claymore on Sami Zayn after losing the main event match to Seth Rollins. McIntyre's actions seemingly hint that he is the one who attacked Jey Uso earlier in the night, especially after The Visionary denied being the perpetrator.

While the former Royal Rumble winner was expected to be back in the fold in time for the Road To WrestleMania 41, he was not originally scheduled to be part of this past Monday's episode of the flagship show. However, WWE may have changed its plans due to Bronson Reed's untimely injury at Survivor Series: WarGames.

According to PWInsider, the belief backstage is that Bronson Reed's situation led to Drew McIntyre's return being moved up a few weeks. What Triple H and his creative team have in store for The Scottish Warrior at the most important time of the year bears watching. But for the time being, he may be entering a mini-program with the OG Bloodline's crew members on WWE RAW.

Drew McIntyre was advertised for WWE's Live Events through the holiday season, including the Madison Square Garden show. So, regardless of Reed's injury, he would have been back in the ring later this month.

Real-life Bloodline member warns former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre

Earlier this year, Lance Anoa'i warned Drew McIntyre. Fast-forward to now, and Anoa'i has signed with World Wrestling Entertainment and currently performs on WWE NXT.

In an interview with WrestlingNews.co back in March, Lance Anoa'i addressed McIntyre's lingering distaste for The Bloodline. Lance noted that whatever the case may be, the Scotsman should not mess around too much, or else more members of their family will turn him into a marked man:

"I'm just letting him [Drew McIntyre] know, he's messing with the wrong family," Lance Anoa'i said. "He went after me, he went after Jey, he went after Roman. Man, you better watch who you mess with, man, because we got a big family, and you just don't know who's next."

With the OG Bloodline having scored a massive win over The Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, it seems they are a strong unit. However, McIntyre has issues with all of them, including CM Punk, who assisted them this past Saturday.

It will be interesting to witness how all this plays out heading into WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.
