Finn Balor to present the “new” Judgment Day on WWE RAW - Reports

Tonight's WWE RAW is set to feature the fallout from the 37th annual SummerSlam event, including the implosion of The Judgment Day. New spoilers have just leaked from backstage on a very interesting name planned for the show and what Finn Balor has in store for the WWE Universe.

SummerSlam opened with Dominik Mysterio turning on Rhea Ripley to help Liv Morgan win. The beginning of the end of The Judgment Day continued when Balor helped Gunther defeat Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. It was indicated earlier that Balor and JD McDonagh, the World Tag Team Champions, are aligning with Liv and Dirty Dom to form a new faction without The Eradicator and The Archer of Infamy.

The Prince is now set to reveal the "New" Judgment Day on tonight's RAW, according to a backstage update from Wrestlevotes. It wasn't clear if Ripley and Priest would stay aligned or what would happen with Carlito.

WWE has another shocker planned for tonight's show: the red brand debut of Odyssey Jones. After signing in February 2019, he worked NXT shows until taking a 484-day hiatus in early 2020, then returning in July 2021 to work 205 Live, NXT and Level Up, Main Event, live events, and SmackDown dark matches.

Jones took another nine months off to recover from a knee injury and was then sent to RAW in the 2023 Draft. He never debuted but was squashed by Bron Breakker at Superstar Spectacle last September. From February 2 through March 31 of this year, the 30-year-old worked nine dark and live event matches, and un-aired Speed bouts.

Tonight's RAW will feature no commercial interruptions in the first hour. Below is the announced lineup from WWE:

  • CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will speak
  • Gunther will appear
  • Sonya Deville vs. Dakota Kai
  • The New Day vs. AOP
  • Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down Under
  • Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser
  • The Wyatt Sicks vs. Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers in the main event

RAW will air on Syfy tonight due to Olympics coverage on the USA Network. Sportskeeda Wrestling will have live results and all breaking news.
